Brian H. Song is a founder of Bhs Law. Mr. Song is a graduate of the U.C. Berkeley, class of 1993 with honors, where he studied Economics. Mr. Song studied law at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, graduating in 1996 with honors. Mr. Song then went on to study taxation at New York University in Manhattan, New York, in 1997-1998. Since then, he worked at Coopers & Lybrand, which later merged with PriceWaterhouse, where he was promoted to manager position in just 3 year, setting a then-record at the office. After the promotion was awarded, Mr. Song moved to Silicon Valley during the height of ‘Dot.com’ era to join Gray Cary.
In late 2002, Mr. Song opened his own practice.
Admitted to practice in California courts, federal courts of Central and Northern Districts of California as well as Ninth Circuit Court.
Ms. Im is an associate at Bhs Law, where she practices corporate law. During her association with Yoon & Yang LLC, she honed her litigation skills by assisting in a U.S. case involving a Korean conglomerate. While in law school, she further honed her legal acumen by drafting an amicus curiae brief for a major U.S. Supreme Court case. After being admitted to the Washington D.C. Bar in 2017, Ms. Im continued to demonstrate her legal expertise by serving as a board member at Onjeon Co., Ltd. a legal tech startup in Seoul,
where she led the operations team. In addition to her corporate and litigation experience, Ms. Im is deeply committed to pro bono work and social advocacy. She has contributed to the legal field by assisting with criminal cases for victims of human trafficking in the Philippines and working at a legal clinic for socially marginalized individuals in Korea. As the Director of External Relations at Handong International Law School and as the Executive Director of DREAM, a pro-bono legal clinic, she enhanced access to legal services for underserved communities. Ms. Im also taught tort law at Handong Global University.
Ms. Cho is an associate at Bhs Law, where she practices litigation law. Prior to joining Bhs Law, Ms.Cho worked at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP as a legal intern. She assisted attorneys in the U.S. litigation process involving a global company, handling work related to tort claims, personal jurisdiction
matters, and discovery procedures in California state and federal courts. She has enhanced her litigation skills by performing extensive research and legal analysis, as well as drafting memoranda focused on civil procedure. Ms. Cho also has experience working at the Korean Constitutional Court Research Institute. Ms. Cho graduated Magna Cum Laude from Handong International Law School in 2023 and passed the Washington D.C. Bar in February 2024. While in law school, Ms. Cho has won numerous awards
in international moot court competitions. She received Fali Nariman Honourable Mentions Award for the Best Written Memorandum in the Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot and was awarded the Second Best Oralist in the World Trade Organization Moot Court. She was also a Runner-up finalist in her law school's intramural moot court competition.
Ms. Kang focuses her practice in corporate governance and securities law. She serves as corporate counsel to various companies on general corporate and transactional matters. Additionally, Ms. Kang regularly advises companies throughout their life cycle, from formation through financings, growth through business partnership and exit transactions. Ms. Kang has represented clients in various technology sectors including artificial intelligence, fintech,
biotechnology and many more.
Ms. Kim is an associate at Bhs Law, LLP. She graduated Cum Laude from Handong Global University in 2020 and from Handong International Law School in 2023. She passed the Washington, D.C. bar exam in February 2024.
During her time at university and law school, she participated in various legal research projects as a Research Assistant focusing on comparative law in areas such as Korean Unification Law, U.S. Constitutional Amendments, and Criminal Law. She also interned at AILingGo and worked on translating the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
Since June 2022, she has been interning at Bhs Law, LLP, where she has diligently prepared for her career as a legal professional. Currently, she is responsible for assisting in the preparation of litigation and conducting legal research on labor law issues.
Ms. Hwang received a scholarship for academic performance while studying law at Jeju University.
After graduating from Jeju University, she attended Handong International Law School, where she was an intern on research projects related to human rights and criminal law. She was honored with the HILS Alumni Award for representing exemplary law school life.
After graduating from Handong International Law School, she participated in founding Handong Arise Legal Clinic and worked as a researcher, providing free legal services to socially marginalized groups in legal blind spots.
While pursuing her Doctor of Law at Handong University, she received the BK21 scholarship for selected doctoral candidates from the government and conducted research on competition law and freedom of religion . She authored a paper on these topics.
Since August 2023, she has been working at Bhs Law, researching cases related to competition law and participating in the labor law class action litigation team.
Narae Lee is a junior partner at Bhs Law, LLP, specializing in employment law and class action litigation. She skillfully guides businesses through complex wage and hour disputes, arbitration agreements, hiring and termination processes, and legal compliance. Her strategic approach also helps businesses proactively develop sound employment policies, procedures, and arbitration agreements. Before joining Bhs Law, she served as managing attorney for a Korea-based pharmaceutical company and its California subsidiary.
A passionate advocate for social justice, Ms. Lee founded a pro-boho legal clinic in Korea serving marginalized communities and previously lectured on the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights at Handong Global University.
Ms. Yeojin Lee is an associate at Bhs Law, where she practices corporate law. Ms. Lee graduated cum laude from Handong International Law School, where she was honored with the HILS Alumni Award for her exemplary conduct and academic achievement. Before joining Bhs Law, LLP, she gained experience as a legal intern at the Pacific Justice Institute in California, specializing in labor law-related litigation. In Korea, she interned at Somyoung Law Firm, where she drafted briefs and memoranda on refugee and immigration law. Additionally she worked at the Women’s Hope Center, providing English support services to marginalized communities.
During her law school years, Ms. Lee served as a teaching assistant for the Legal Research & Writing course, where she created an exam assignment, drafted model answers, and provided detailed feedback on student’s work. She also engaged in research project about comparative law between the United States and Korea including California’s
Anti-SLAPP motion.
• Pomona College, B.A. Media Studies
Ms. Han is a paralegal and legal assistant at Bhs Law, LLP.
She assists both litigation and corporate lawyers by drafting and proofreading documents, organizing data, and handling various administrative tasks, among other things.
Ms. Han graduated from Pomona College with a Media Studies major and a Computer Science minor. During her time in college, she wrote for the campus newspaper and was a member of the school’s nationally ranked mock trial team.
After college, she worked in various industries, including tech and education, before joining Bhs Law, LLP
